Causes and Treatments for Cat Acne

 The exact cause of cat acne has not yet been identified, but the situation that causes acne is largely divided into several. Plastic tableware often causes food to get on the cat's chin, or acne occurs due to stress, immune system problems, or poor grooming habits. The cat's acne looks like a small abscess and appears with hard crumbs. In general, pus is full, hair loss is formed, and the chin is swollen. At this time, it is often spread over a larger area because it is accompanied by itching and sometimes the jaw is swollen. Secondary bacterial infections can also occur, so acne should be prevented in advance and careful.

Causes of Cat Acne

Treatments

  1. Replace with tableware such as pottery, stainless steel, or glass
  2. Wipe warm water or tea on Acne
  3. Wash your chin lightly with shampoo
  4. Take cat nutritional supplements

Acne is a disease that can get better, but perfect "healing" is hard. To alleviate symptoms, a seborrheic shampoo or gel containing benzoyl peroxide at a concentration of less than 3% is usually used. First, there is a way to replace the tableware, and when the above method is difficult, it treats acne simply like disinfecting warm water or tea on the area.
